My name is Douglas Coenen. I am an Earth scientist and I specialise in reconstructing the climate of the past. My project aims at giving better estimates of how the Earth’s ocean varied when it was much warmer than today. For this, I will blast some fossils with a laser to get an insight into the environmental conditions they lived in.
